How FGX Dry Coal Separator Used to Remove 90%-95% Reject,Increasing Heating Value?

Abstract: Our company developed an advanced dry coal preparation technology  to improve the energy efficiency of coal handling,processing, and utilization operations.

Its FGX dry coal separator. Most importantly,its complete dry cleaning separator,operating cost is only 1/4 of that coal washery preparation,but Separation Efficiency is higher to 92%~95%.

 

Related Projects in Mongolia:

2016,Zhunge’er Yirong Coal Company were planning to build a dry coal preparation plant,the raw coal was supplied by Xianglei Coal Mine,the complete project was located in Mongolia.Confirmed requirement,we made a coal sink & float experiments.

Dry Coal Beneficiation is used to process raw coal <6mm,if fine coal of raw coal is exceeded 20%,screen is adviced to reduce content,so that separating efficiency is best. Feed size of coal dry processing system should be: 120-6mm.See from above table, Size Fraction meet requirement of feed size.

Conclusion: Through analyzing on the coal quality material, float/sink analyses of 100-6mm size fraction is listed above. When specific density is 1.8g/cm3,±0.1 content is 12.08%,it is middle-difficult-to-wash coal.

So,according to operating conditions and ash cleaning results etc, our professional team designed FGX coal dry circuit below:

Technical Summary & Conclusions

2017,Oct-Dec,the statistical result was worked out in below table according to the production index of FX-12 Coal Dry Processing System. Through washibility data of sink/float table,cleans ash was 25%, theoretical yield of clean coal was 59.63%.Ash content was reduced by 15%,increase calorific value by around 1000Kcal.

See from this Table, separating results from production of Xianglei Coal Mining resulted in installation of FX-12 Coal Dry Processing System was excellent. The separating efficiency was upto at least 90%.(All data above came from Zhunge’er Yirong Coal Company, test Lab of Dry Separation Plant)

Industral Test Conclusion

1. Raw coal feeded to FX coal dry system was weighted by measuring device of belt weighter,FX-12 system,capacity is 120 ton/hr.

2. Separating efficiency is upto 90%,FX series coal dry preparation is excellent.

3. Operating Stably.

4. That vibrating frequency and angle adjusted,baffle plate chute adjusted immediately can meet our customer’s different requirement on clean coal.

5. Probable error (Ep) values that range from 0.12 to 0.20. This level of performance provides high organic efficiencies approaching 95%.

6. The capital cost for a 120 ton/hr unit was reported to be less than 1/4 that of a traditional washery Preparation plant,design with operating costs below US$0.6-0.75 per tonne.

7. Complete operating is dry preparation,can be used in arid and cold area.
