Abstract

2019,DIRO helped CGTEE GROUP build dry coal separation plant in candiota ii phase C power plant project in Brazil. This dry coal separation plant is the largest coal preparation project being built in China-Brazil coal beneficiation projects with capacity 3000000t/a. After completion,sulphur content and ash content of raw coal can be sharply reduced,greatly improve abrasion of boiler, and reduce the emission of dust.Bring considerable economic benefits to the power plant while striving to protect the local ecological environment.

Commissioning is finished in 2020,Feb.

● Introduction

The candiota ii phase C power plant project is located in Candeotta, Nandahe Prefecture, Brazil. This project is 350000 kilowatt generator set , and officially generated electricity in 2010.

● Problems of Old Project

During the operation of the power plant, there have always been the problems:

1. High stone content of raw coal

2. High sulfur content of raw coal

3. Lower calorific value than the quality of the designed coal

4. Leads to serious abrasion of the generator set and seriously affects on the safety and stable operation of the generator set.

● Find Solution

In order to solve the problems of poor quality of Coal Combustion in power plants, DIRO conducted technical exchanges with the owner of CGTEE and carried out repeated technical argumentation.Finally, technology of Dry coal separation is proposed to improve quality of raw coal.

Moreover, DIRO carried out the industrial test of dry coal separation for raw coal supplied to CGTEE power plant in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China, coordinating with the owners of Brazilian CGTEE power plant, Brazilian CRM coal mine, Citic Construction, Shandong Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute, Harbin Boiler Factory,

Under the witness of every party, the industrial test has achieved successful separating results.

● Solution

DIRO designed layout of FX- 48A dry coal separatorfor candiota ii phase C power plant project. FX series dry coal separation system are developed out in 1992.Dry Coal Preparation technology is the advanced technology in dry coal processing, works excellently in coal de-shaling and de-sulphurization in the world coal industrial,and has been widely installed in,Texas, South Africa,Russia,Ukrain,Poland,Turkey etc.

This dry coal preparation is installed to improve the quality of raw coal. It has the advantages below

3. Dust removal system of upgrading equipment is designed with a new three-stage dust removal system and one more fine-coal briquetting system to avoid dust-raising in the production process;

● Quality Control

Assurance scheme of product quality has been worked out. The manufacture of equipment is supervised by the professionals in the whole process, and strict inspection has been carried out before loading the factory.
